WE HAVE AN IDENTITY CRISIS

“WE HAVE AN IDENTITY CRISIS”

In Ocean County there is the potential for a number of different emergencies and disasters that could necessitate the evacuation of our homes.  Most recently forest fires, coastal storms and hazardous materials events have been the cause. However, there is the possibility that a tornado, nuclear facility incident, earthquake or even a civil disturbance, an act of terrorism or war could occur.

We know that in the Township of Ocean many of our residents may have special needs during an evacuation and to have emergency plans developed to assist them is very challenging because we have only a limited number of sources which identifies these individuals.

Please help us to help you! If you or a loved one might need assistance in an emergency, please fill out the form enclosed and return it to Ocean Township Police Department.  If you need assistance to fill out the form or, you need someone to pick up your completed form, please call the Ocean Township Police Department at (609) 693-4007.
